The lymphatic system is our body's most important system in the body as well as the largest. It is the sewerage system and our waste deposit. It maintains fluid levels in our body tissues by removing all fluids that leak out of our blood vessels. The lymphatic system is important for the optimal functioning of our general and specific immune responses. When our lymphatic systems are backed up due to an overload of mucus and acidity is when deprivation, deficits and deterioration occurs on a cellular level. Its job is to send waste and foreign material to our lymph nodes such as you see in the sketch above. Lymph nodes and other lymphatic organs filter the lymph to remove microorganisms and other foreign particles. Lymphatic organs contain lymphocytes that destroy invading organisms.
The lymphatic system does not have a pump. It is vital for us to get the body circulating through exercises, mobility, sweating, hot and cold showers, skin brushing, massages, etc. Fruit consumption as well as alkaline herbs. This all will help and assist in getting rid of excess mucus, toxins, and drugs that's been stored in the body for many years.
